From the experience of training for the Olympics in literature: the story written by V. Degtev "That’s why I cry..." in the context of Russian literature

The article discusses the problem of one of the main requirements given to students which study in the School for gifted children – participation in the intellectual subject comtetion. The ability to compare different texts is very impotant. In the course "The Gift" we recommend to compare novel “That’s why I cry…” written by V. Degtev (1959-2005) with Russian classical and modern literature.
